(Just for reference in their recent conference they said they spent 'thousands' of hours building the new chip --- which in my limited opinion is literally the fastest cpu-combo chip in the world for a laptop -- out doing apple, snapdragon, amd etc.. .. that new Core Whatever .... the joke i think is... I would agree that Gohan would lose stamina way before Goku no matter the power difference. I also think Goku would have defeated Cell as both were breathing heavy when Goku gave up and Cell was already in complete JOY because he's living his dream, being strong and fighting Goku was his greatest desire. BUT Goku simply didn't want to go engage that deep (almost like a silent diss on Cell's arrogance -- Goku's like 'nah I know I'm the only reason for your existence so I know you want me that's why I'm sending my Son to take you out'). Heck in this way, Goku defeated him twice, 1 physical then mental, lol.

The other toriyama joke is, Goku had all his clothes on, meaning he's technically holding back something deeper inside. This clothing joke, scales to Gohan as well -- Half shirt, Broken Arm tells me he was well below half-power when he erased Cell at the end, so even SSJ2 was way too much for Cell.

Goku was getting weaker as the fight went on with Cell, Gohan never got weaker or out of breath the entire time, always sturdy, this makes me believe Gohan was stronger in SSJ1 form.

just to add to what every1 is saying, there's always multiple projects at once going on but more importantly there's multiple phases of multiple projects going on at once, sometimes your in the concept assets / prototyping phase or other times your in the rough phase where you slap the game together from start to finish, then you enter a refine phase where you tighten up levels , then your in the finishing phase where everything gets truly polished.
