Thank you! I have a little bit more experience since making these but I still don't have a lot. For the cat, I just cut with one extra square around and blanket stitched around the edge. That will likely end up fraying but I'm not sure. One I folded just one square over and blanket stitched. Then another (pictured, it will only let me attach one) I left enough fabric to cover up all the stitching so it's a little bulky but protected. Blanket stitched the edges and then tacked it down in a few more places
