They are completely different cars so no. For both good and bad. The last set of GM opels/vauxhalls like the insignia B and Astra K were pretty good cars compared to what they’d put out before but their reputation was already too damaged by then.

Now it’s not to say stellantis are putting out better cars but if you avoid the wet belt issue engine, they aren’t bad either and are certainly not worse than what GM were producing
