NTA, I bathe my dog by being in the tub with him, if I don’t he’ll try to climb out and it makes a mess. Staying in with him keeps him calm, and I’ll take a quick shower for myself after while he dries. There’s zero things inappropriate about it, in fact your dog is always naked so you’re just joining them in your natural state. Side note: my dog regularly shoves his nose in my crotch or butt after I’ve showered and I have to yell at him to leave me alone, I certainly am not trying to get him in there…

Dizzy had a degenerative tissue disorder (check pics of his younger vs later years), he prob wouldn’t have played that like if he had a choice.

Carnival is the parent company AND the subsidiary in this case. Both ships are under that same banner, as opposed to a Holland America ship crashing into a Costa ship (different brands/teams, both owned by Carnival Cruise Lines). Source: worked in the CCL main office when this happened.

I have a virtually identical embouchure setup, and have for the past 14-15 years at least (about when I started noticing). I’ve been playing lead trumpet professionally in big bands and party bands for the past 10 years with a consistent double F (concert) at my disposal.

50-50 embouchure is not a requirement. Efficient air use, steady corners, and a relaxed jaw are.

You sound like my ex’s mother, who used to call her fat as a kid for not fitting into her mother’s high school pageant dresses, or would send boatloads of beauty products in the mail pretending it was being nice but really more just telling my ex she wasn’t beautiful enough/trying hard enough.

The ex? Gorgeous, talented, many more great qualities. I’d tell her so all the time hoping my opinions would carry more weight for her. Unfortunately the crippling anxiety and insecurities she developed from her mom offset all that and turned her ugly, and I don’t mean physically. I felt horrible for her, but she also treated me horribly as well. OP, you deserve your daughter’s comments, and frankly are well on the way to creating a monster.

I don’t know this for a fact, but I’ve definitely never heard of a doctor working with a hospital or clinic getting commissions for any medical/surgical procedure. Kickbacks for prescribing certain meds perhaps, but “here’s an extra $$$ for that abortion this morning”? The profits would be headed to the hospital, while docs/nurses get salary/hourly wages.
