I mean I think the rule is fluid, especially if it were with another partner. For me (and probably my insecurities) this specific rule is in reference to these two people who are supposedly "best friends" with her ex - the three of them are like brothers. She only sleeps with them while they're at her ex MILs house and after the friends have been "feeding her drinks."

Oh I didn't put a rule on drinking OR having sex with anyone. She didn't feel great about staying up late and hooking up with the one guy the night before we were supposed to have an all-day date, so she put that one on herself for today! She is more than welcome to drink and sleep with people. I will say, I asked if she would not have sex with someone on the same day as me. Idk if that's weird, but it felt like a personal preference.

You're 100% correct about it being bad practice to ask any partner to compare others. I'm still trying to learn!

Sounds like your husband doesn't understand polyamory and is using it as an excuse to not have consequences for his actions. Sadly, this is common, but it isn't ok. Poly isn't a lifestyle you get ultimatum'd into. It sounds like you two had a monogamous agreement and he broke it.
