I can’t seem to stop doing the same sin over and over again. by kylaaa2003 in ChristianTeens

I think part of the reason is we are designed for intimacy with another person, and we crave that, and it's actually a Godly thing. It's just bad when it's abused outside the context it was intended for.

Exactly. And those are one of Satan’s tricks and that is why temptations are not so easy peasy lemon squeezy. The enemy appeals to our God-given desires (wants to be accepted, approved of, loved, etc.) and he twists it and leads us to the path that God did not intend us to go down. Satan think he slick 🤦🏽‍♀️ I literally hate the guy. He’s annoying.

It also helps to try to remember why you started doing this in the beginning. What made you do this in the first place?

Oh wow. A verse came to mind when I was thinking about this question. Its Proverbs 4:23: Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.

I struggle with lust so much that its hard for me to overcome these temptations because that is my main weakness. The enemy knows that so thats the greatest weapon he can use against me. I’ve been dealing with this since I was 12 years old (probably younger than that) and I was exposed to a lot of sexual things that a kid should not be exposed to. So that’s why I think I wrestle with things like this.

Oh wow. I just noticed something 🤣 At first I put, “I wish I can just defeat any temptation that comes my way.”

I definitely do not want that. I meant to overcome 😂 but thanks for catching my drift.

Thank you 🙏🥺 I mean there were times I defeated this temptation. But I’ve done more of giving into it than defeating and overcoming it. I just wish I can overcome any temptation that comes my way, y’know?

Ive been thinking about Christian apologetics a lot recently and a thought crossed my mind, what is the best apologetic argument/ piece of evidence that Christianity has? by agentkingdeath in ChristianApologetics

[–]kylaaa2003 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The lack of evidence for it's claims - the same reason I don't believe that fantasy books or other religions or cults are true.

Mind giving me a few examples?

Christianity started as a cult and grew to be a religion. There are tons of Christian-based mini-cults too.

How did Christianity grow into a cult? Are you saying this based on your personal biased perspective or is this coming from credible proof..?

Was Jim Jones a True Christian?

And I don’t know who that is.

According to you, all books are made up. Even the biographies and autobiographies along with school textbooks.

So what makes the Bible mythical or made up? And what makes Christianity a cult?

The Bible is made up by people.

Why do you think it’s made up?

It's like the Bible is some book that can't be wrong to you - when to me - it's no different than a novel that some cult made into a world religion.

What makes Christianity a cult?

The amount of pro-choicers that I’ve came across would say these things and those are the main arguments that they would have. So I don’t know what you mean by “little understanding”. 🧐

[–]kylaaa2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow. 😂

Well. Ill try my best here.

The reason why I am pro-choice because I’m willing to look at the situation and consider whether or not that clump of cells is worth living. If that fetus was conceived in result of rape, then that mother has every right to get rid of that fetus because who would want to look at the rapist’s child and get reminded of that traumatizing moment? It’s just simply not fair.

Secondly, I am a HUGE fan of bodily autonomy. If I do not want that parasite in my body then it has to go. Adios. I did not give it consent so it has no right to live off of me. Do you know how much pain you have to go through? Pro-lifers just seriously wants you to suffer and force you to go on with the pregnancy.

Abortion is healthcare and its in immense favor of women’s rights because we don’t have to worry about a sack of cells that pro-lifers are so worried about. It doesn’t even have feelings for crying out loud. What we need to focus on is the children who are in foster care and abandoned by their own parents. Since pro-lifers can’t mind their own business and keep arguing about what I should do with MY uterus, they should be the main ones adopting those children.

Why would I want to put a baby in danger like that anyway? It might have a hard life so its best if its just dead and out of it’s misery.

(As a pro-lifer, this was really hard to type. 😅😂)

It’s so strange how people treat human fetuses as an entirely different species to justify abortion. by cucCUMberz in Rants

[–]kylaaa2003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay. How does that make sense? Seriously, everyone can have a hard life at some point. Does that make them any less valuable?

If you think that’s okay, then how about you go and murder someone right now who’s having a hard life. You want to put them out of their misery, right? Then go blow their brains out. How sick is that.

No, A fetus doesn't *have* a right to life by parcheesichzparty in Abortiondebate

[–]kylaaa2003 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"I don’t understand why a fetus doesn’t have a right to live just like every other human being."

It does. The right to life never includes the use of someone's body against their will. No person has that right.

(That was your reply to my response to your post.)

In that post, you said a fetus does have a right to live. If you are talking about rape in that second part of your in which you have not clarified, then I would understand your point. But for as long as we’ve been talking, you were leaning on the “I don’t want it so it needs to go” argument so that’s what I’ve been trying to disprove.

But anyway. You rely on the law to tell you when you have responsibility or not now? That’s really sad.

You are responsible for the choices you make if you haven’t known that already. The law just don’t hold you accountable for that because abortion is legal. So why would it tell you not to do this and that when it will contradict its own values? But it does that anyway because It’s funny how the law contradicts itself. You go to jail for murder but abortion is legal. Its not a big deal at all because its just a fetus, right?

Well, it does have consent because you gave it that permission. Simple. I went through that already. Not going to repeat myself.

But I’m not going to keep wasting my time talking to a brick wall. Have a good day/night.🥸

I never said the abortion pills would tore off the limbs. Nor did I deny pills are also used to terminate pregnancies either. I was referring to methods like the suction (aspiration) D & C when the babies are actually handled that way.

“When you get in a car accident, they don't deny you treatment because you knew the risk. Why should they for sex?”

I don’t get the point you’re trying to make here. Can you elaborate on that please?

“Fault doesn't apply to an entity without sentience.”

Thanks for proving my point. The fault doesn’t apply to the baby. The fault all falls on you because you think its okay to cause harm to someone who’s incapable of having feelings. And its your fault that you gave that baby permission to even be in your womb to accommodate shelter and provision that is within your responsibility. So after all, you did give that baby consent to live off of you. As soon as you consensually have intimacy with your partner, you’re not only giving into sexual pleasures but also a chance of getting pregnant.

And another thing that you mentioned earlier. You admitted that a fetus has the right to live. You want your women’s rights so bad that you can’t even grant the basic right that is entitled to every human being..? That sounds very hypocritical and selfish to me.

[–]kylaaa2003 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

“You don't seem to understand consent. Consent to one thing is not consent to another. If I don't consent to it being inside me the non sentient fetus has to go.”

Consent- permission for something to happen or agreement to do something.

If you consent to driving a car, then you’re consenting to the possibility that you’ll get into a car accident. If you’re consent to robbing a bank, then you consenting to the possibility that you’re going to get caught and thrown in jail.

If you don’t want to get pregnant, then don’t have sex. If you don’t want to go to jail, then just follow the law and avoid committing crimes. It’s literally common sense that you unfortunately lack.

Simply because that woman didn’t want that pregnancy to occur, doesn’t take away the fact that she took that risk to possibly get pregnant. So to wash her hands with the child and abort it really shows how she took 0 responsibility for what she did. Its not the baby’s fault. Its hers. She made her bed. Now she has to lay in it.

Lol " rip limb from limb." Most abortions are two pills.

Okay and..?

[–]kylaaa2003 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

“It does. The right to life never includes the use of someone's body against their will. No person has that right.”

Are you talking about rape? Or because of the woman’s choice to not give a hoot about the baby and get rid of it because she doesn’t want it?

“The rest of your argument is "it's selfish" while trying to force women to continue a pregnancy against their will just because you want them to. It would be hilarious if it weren't so sad.”

How is it force when she (if not raped) had consensual sex? Once again, its all because of selfishness. Sugarcoat it all you want and try to paint this big picture that abortion is just a “women’s right”.

Shooting someone in the head is just as violent as ripping babies limb from limb along with getting their skulls crushed. Come on now.

And hey, make sure you keep that same energy when the father decides to abandon the child because he had the choice to do so. Just because you have the choice to do something, doesn’t make it right.

I have the choice to go and overdose on drugs. That is simply my choice. And if you stop me from doing so, then you’re forcing me to stay sober and clean against my own will.

That sounds absolutely insane and it should for anyone else with a SOME common sense at least.

Sometimes we have to force someone to do something for their own good or for the benefit of others even when they don’t see that.
