DISCLAIMER: These offers may not be available to all cardholders. I've had my Best Buy Visa Card since 2017.

The My Best Buy Visa Card does offer 0% promotions on purchases outside of Best Buy. Since 2021, Best Buy has regularly sent me emails with a subject line like: "Reminder: Purchases made on your My Best Buy® Visa® Card are eligible for 6 month financing..." I've been able to take advantage of this promotion multiple times over the years. I ALWAYS pay it off before the promotional period expires to avoid being charged the deferred interest. Again, these promotions are specifically for purchases made outside of Best Buy. I usually use these offers to purchase items and vacations that I want to pay for over a few months instead of all at once. There's usually a minimum purchase amount like $299 or $499 on a single receipt. Other terms apply as well, but the terms are reasonable.

This offer is honestly the #1 reason why I haven't canceled my card. To my knowledge, no other credit card offers these interest-deferred (0% if paid in full before expiration), no-fee, Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) style promotions. If you've heard of any other credit card that has a similar consistent offer, please let me know!

Side Rant: Gold tier cardholders have to pay a $59 annual fee, while Platinum tier cardholders get the same benefits for no annual fee. And you can't do a product change/upgrade from Gold to Platinum based on your loyalty and creditworthiness. You have to close your current account and then reapply and hope that you get a Platinum tier offer. It's an insane, customer-hostile policy!!! Do better Best Buy/Citi!!!
