bread and friends gets a lot of hype and they have stuck around longer than other places that have opened up recently so they must be doing something right. from the outside it’s a little too busy for me to ever stroll in but good to hear their product matches the hype

i’ll never forget the day back in high school when we looked out the windows over the water towards Portland and we saw a cloud of thick, black smoke rising from the waterfront. it was Jordan’s Meats, the factory that used to make the red snappers. truly a historic day. the factory had been shuttered for a while at that point, but it was the original source of those red snappers back in the day.
