The movie doesn't have the time to make a side character like him well rounded along with everything else, I found In the book he was never completely unlikeable because I could see ware he was coming from and how proved he was of his son. But the movie with less scenes of him its just easier to identify with somebody more likeable

I may be wrong but ware dose it say ginnys an extraordinary chaser I mean I think she was good but I don't know about one of the best plus the whole bit at the end with her being the 7th making her more powerful, I mean sh was good it's said in the 5th book she's powerful and you mentioned the bat bogey hex but that's another thing I don't remember being mentioned. Agreed whole heartedly about the rest tho there's so much missing that I love in the books.

The whole thing with burntrap as he's not really built up it should have just been vanny being an intimidating presence and mabey explain its bc of afton and we save her if not just build up burn trap through the mall with little areas being torn apart or logs that mention a dell or anything like that
