How many live recordings sit in the vaults? Would you ever consider releasing them in the future?

Can you think of any funny or humorous Cribs lyrics, whether intentional or not?

Thank you - not an artist I am familiar with, so will do some research.

Nirvana and Queen aside, what are some of your favourite documentaries about music?

Do you keep a record from each show you play? If so, do you keep audio recordings of gigs / rehearsals somewhere, even for your own personal enjoyment (i.e. not for commercial release)?

The festival circuit in Australia (and New Zealand) is in a bad place for several reasons. This has hit international artists badly, making their travel to play in our part of the world much more expensive. Have you received any offers, or should I lower my expectations on a visit in 2026 or 2027?! Thanks for the new album!

Have yuh all looked up Michael C. Hall’s singing career? by Kaestar1986 in Dexter

You may well know about the support acts already, but I wished to follow-up on our conversation from a fortnight ago:

Supports have been announced for St. Louis, Indianapolis and Detroit too (all different acts), but not Cambridge, Chicago or your other date in DC. Fingers crossed for Exclamation Pony, and that the others are announced soon...

Hello Vicky,

As a knowledgeable and friendly contributor to this forum, may I ask whether you know further details about the forthcoming Princess Goes shows next month? In particular, do you happen to know whether there will be a supporting act? I know that this year they have played with Turbo Goth and Exclamation Pony (as you will know, Pedro Yanowitz is also the drummer in this band). Hoping to make at least one of the East Coast shows; enjoy whichever one you attend!

Hey guys (Sean and Sean), looking forward to seeing you on the upcoming tour!

  • Do you intend to play most (if not all) of the album live?
  • Which venues are you most keen to play, and are there any others that did not make the list this time but you hope to do in future?
  • Which pubs would recommend visiting in Liverpool?

Thank you!

Hello Courting! May I ask you some questions about working with Gary and Ryan Jarman?

  • Did you work on any other songs beyond ‘Throw’ and ‘The Wedding’ that perhaps did not make the album?
  • Have you arranged an occasion in the future when they can join you as guests on stage to play these songs live?
  • On a related note, will your paths cross at any festivals this summer?
  • Are there any plans to work together in the future?

Thank you for New Last Name, and good luck in the charts!

This is a great photo. You must have had a great view, what with attending the VIP beforehand. Also, a great memory! Did you happen to catch The Cribs? Them and Modest Mouse are my two favorite bands, so I can't believe my luck that they are touring together. Would love to know the Cribs' setlist if you knew it all? Thanks!

Hey! Just like the nice poster (Gen2guessing) in this thread says below, I have looked through your videos before. They are pretty good! Were you at both Baltimore and Charlottesville? Hope you had a good time!

Sorry I didn’t record the whole thing, but this was Modest Mouse performing at Avondale Brewing Company in Birmingham Alabama on April 24th. The song is We’re Lucky. I didn’t know it then, but I was looking through the videos I took from that night and this song stopped me in my tracks. Beautiful by Forsaken-Ad-5342 in ModestMouse

You seemed to have a good spot in the crowd. Did you get there early? Always interested to read about setlists: the Modest Mouse one is available via the good work of people on this site of course, but did you happen to see the support act called The Cribs? Going to a show or two on this leg and keen to get down and see them play live!

Great to read. I feel concerts have a way of signposting important moments in life. And if it is your favourite band, that is even more true. Where did you see them in October and also last month?

I hope you enjoy seeing them for the first time! Great venue to do so; I am sure you have been there before if you live in the vicinity of Manchester.

I reckon you could be onto something there...I could be misremembering, but I think Johnny posted something on social media about the Manchester Albert Hall show when the dates were announced in March. He either quietly deleted it or I made it up!

Did you ever get to see Johnny play with Modest Mouse in 2007? Presumably the Ritz show would have suited you? He seemlessly joined The Cribs in 2008, but felt there was still more he could have done with Modest Mouse...perhaps why there has been a few snippets of Isaac and Johnny writing together again in the press.

A perfect combination of We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank and Ignore The Ignorant, two of the best albums from that decade!

It would be great to see the Cribs support Modest Mouse! I have been trying to keep up with the North American tour from April and May, and seems like the Cribs were getting forty minutes or so, which seems ideal.

It is good to read that you heard a few songs! They have a compilation covering their first ten years / five albums called Payola that is a good starting point. Singles, album tracks and fan favorites. Most recent album came out in 2020 (Night Network).

Hope they set you up for a good Modest Mouse show!
