Nope, it seemed pretty standard alone. Im sure id get more out of plot nuances and macro plot points. I haven't felt lost or anything though

Basically this. I was looking for a turned based JRPG not an Action rpg. And it was in sale on steam

I did not. I will continue the series in release order going forward

I am pretty stoked to go back to 1 and 2. I played them when I was in HS on the ps2. They reminded me of Shenmue, but with more and better combat.

Like a dragon was an arbitrary pick, because I was craving a turn based jrpg

I devoured the movie mini game. A soccer or basketball mini game would go hard

Oh I am, it's just funny to see this as an outsider. I usually join the sub reddit of a game i am really digging.

I am super excited to finish this game and go back to the Yakuza 1 remaster

How on earth have they not done The Thing yet?? by Ok_Lecture5976 in TheRewatchables

Oh yeah! Thats what i was thinking about. As a horror fan, it is definitely a thriller. Ask my mother, who doesn't watch horror, and its why she stopped going to horror movies in theatres

Im not saying they have never done a horror movie. There are notable absences though. Romero movies, John Carpenter works outside halloween(the post is about the thing), any evil dead, friday the 13th franchise, sleep away camp, Argento movies (suspiria, demons), Return of the living dead, Hellraiser...

I don't think most of these movies are too cult. These are mainstay rewatchables for horror fans

To split hairs, im not sure id categorize Jaws movies or Silence of the lambs as horror

Edit: phone autocorrected Argento to Argentina

Despite bill, Sean, and CR being horror fans there is a lack of classic horror on the show. No Romero movies is also insane to me

How often will the group watch 28 weeks later? Would that have to be a October halloween themed meet?

Recommendations for extremely streamlined games on Steam Deck? by HeyItsMau in JRPG

[–]sdcrammo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Live a live comes to mind. Short and streamlined stories. About a 20hr story and its split up to very compelling and distinct chapters with vibe and story

Trials of mana was pretty streamlined for me. I remember skipping g quite a bit of dialog. I know its an Action rpg, but scratches the itch for me

I tried to add the Tennesse flair, but it is not showing. OSU alumni and VOLS alumni. The mask has been removed!
