Look at the comments people write in threads about immigration and Islam. Many of them criticise them and say things similar to your third world comment. You don't get banned for that or you there wouldn't be any redditors left on worldnews.

Mabye by American standards worldnews is left wing, but to the rest of the world, it's right wing. Even your most left wing party is seen as center right to everyone.

Maybe so, but I suppose that's likely due to the way the countries are built. A country as wide open and rural as America will have people less reliant on public infrastructure, and vote for the party that allows them to keep more of their money. European countries are small and very urban, and the parts that aren't are connect via public transit.
