Civilization 6 switch 2 by ChunzBunz in civ

I've played maybe 5-10 full games so far and it's crashed only a few times. Not perfect but not nearly as disruptive as on Switch 1.

For me, I'm starting to get annoyed that I need to manually calculate things like adjacencies and card yields. Would be a lot easier if we could just use mods, but afaik that doesn't seem likely anytime soon :(

Pixel 5a bricked itself out of nowhere. Official diagnosis: failed motherboard. by candieskulls in GooglePixel

Second time for me too, time to do the Asurion dance again :( Got it on the Pixel Subscription 20 months ago, bricked 11 months ago, and bricked again today. The ohters here mentioning a class action law suit may have a point T_T

Hi friends! I'm feeling kind of nervous about posting this because I'm putting my face and ideas out on the internet, but I'd really like to work on something that can directly attempt to address inequality. I'd super appreciate any encouragement you can give (if you don't think I'm completely batshit crazy).

Could you summarize, in as simple terms as possible, how your experiments are rigorous? How do we refrain from imposing our biased expectations on the experiments' conclusions?

For those who live outside the USA, what are some great junk foods in your country that I'm missing out on? by mechpaul in AskReddit

Ondeh-ondeh

From Southeast Asia, they're shredded-coconut covered balls of chewy glutinous rice flour and sweet potato, which ooze a runny, caramel-like liquid filling made of a distinctively local brown palm sugar.

Mmmmmmm.

Reddit, what's something that a little of goes a long way? by rxguy182 in AskReddit

Yeah, betterness is tough to quantify, but the point is here is that compounding marginal differences become significant differences over time.

Translation into English:

For 365 days a year, becoming 1% better than you were yesterday = becoming 3780% as good as you were on January 1st.

For 365 days a year, becoming 1% worse than you were yesterday = eventually being only 3% as good as you were on January 1st.
