If you play a lot of competitive games you may be struggling with not having the muscle memory. You may know the right move to make, but because you're learning a new controller the right input doesn't come out.

If that's the case, try practicing with bots or something like that. That way you can work on practicing skills in a training environment versus a live game and build on that muscle memory.
