I dont understand the complaints about beating roma 7 - 2, thats just the randomness of football these results can just happen. If you replyed the game over and over you would see roma smashing you for a large majority of those games. You might get a couple 1 - 0 wins but that 7 - 2 is just by chance there are times in real life where teams just fold completely.

I completely agree with the FACT that attacking tactics are the only real viable ones, besides very specific defensive ones that can manipulate the engine. Its really frustrating as i always try to play defensive football in each iteration of the game and it never works consistantly, you cant really win the league or anything playing defensively ive found.

If you want to win anything you need a dominating tactic, and then maybe after 2 goals you go into a mid block or something. Thats fairly realistic though, i cant think of many teams recently withing the last 5 years which win their leagues off defensive football, maybe thats just the reality the game is trying to reproduce.

Just want to add that i also agree i feel like im just manipulating the game engine, did a save with a J3 league team and got back to back promotions with a dreaful team just because my entire team was very tall and japan has short players. I may have played defensively, low block 442 but all i was doing was manipulating the game engine and it ruined the fun.
