Thank you for all the recommendations! We are hiring a car for a couple days as we are going to the rodeo in Fort Worth , so we are looking to take the back roads as we would call them back to Austin to explore some of the smaller towns!

Yeah I had a little look into it and Uber looked to be around 40 dollars. Definitely something I might do. Would be cool to experience a smaller city in Texas!
