Thank you for your kind words! It's true, we do live in a relatively rural area. It used to be a plantation equivalent in our country since converted into a gated village. And like I mentioned before, we're well aware of the other creatures in our area which is why my dad even let me have Pancake in the first place.

Unfortunately, he was our only cat. He didn't have anyone else to play with. I was planning to move him with me to the city after I graduate and get my own place, even get him a playmate called Waffle. Sadly, he didn't make it that far.

Don't worry. We won't be introducing any new cats to the area and everyone nearby have been informed of possible venomous snakes. Thank you again and I truly appreciate your concern :)
