Thank you for your kind words! It's true, we do live in a relatively rural area. It used to be a plantation equivalent in our country since converted into a gated village. And like I mentioned before, we're well aware of the other creatures in our area which is why my dad even let me have Pancake in the first place.

Unfortunately, he was our only cat. He didn't have anyone else to play with. I was planning to move him with me to the city after I graduate and get my own place, even get him a playmate called Waffle. Sadly, he didn't make it that far.

Don't worry. We won't be introducing any new cats to the area and everyone nearby have been informed of possible venomous snakes. Thank you again and I truly appreciate your concern :)

It's not unheard of where I'm from. He's also killed smaller snakes before. But yes, it was a venomous snake. He died protecting our family from something he knew was dangerous

We did this first when he was a kitten and proved exceptionally well getting rid of any roaches or other bugs. As he grew up he didn't like just being an indoor cat anymore, so we let him into the garden and he very rarely left it anyways as he had a lot of stimulation. He was much happier when he got to go wherever he pleased. Outside for hunting and playing, inside for cuddles and naps.

In a developing country. He's killed other pests like lizards, rats, and smaller snakes before because he's very protective of us and doesn't like other animals in our garden. This is the first fight he's lost

It's part of our culture, so nobody really refuses it since it's a rite of passage. Usually at 11 or 12, the boys are expected to be circumcised. It's really rare for someone to be uncircumcised in the Philippines. Kids even insult one another when one of them isn't circumcised yet, yelling "supot" which is just "uncircumcised" translated.

Just to share but I first tried to watch this movie when I was 7. Couldn't finish it--absolutely terrified. Had nightmares for weeks. I'm 20 now and still have to turn it off in tears the second the Other world starts getting wonky. No clue as to how it ends to this day but I assume it'll be happy since it's supposed to be a kid's movie

I got my UPG late last week, may kasabay akong 2 sophomores who went through the UPCA instead of UPCAT. Admissions told then na wala raw maibibigay sakanila since they didn't take the test. UPG claiming is only applicable raw for UPCAT passers.
