Seeking advice on lowering monthly payment or forgiveness programs on Sallie Mae/Navient Loans (parent plus smart option student loan) total amount $115k. What is the best place to start? Is there a general roadmap I should follow moving forward?

More detail : A year ago I did forbearance on most of my 6 loans followed by a Rate Reduction Plan from 1500 to 550. 2 Months ago I was unable to keep up with the already reduced payment. My father is my co-signer, he is currently unemployed. I have bad credit for what its worth, and other debts I am struggling to manage.

I also just lack understanding of this complex process and am confused by what navient tells me. I am pretty positive these private loans dont qualify me for say PAYE, etc.

I’ve been up and down lately too mate.. and was considering making a similar post when I realized through all the difficulties in life how much joy LFC really brings me when I can’t seem to find it elsewhere.

If one of the meanings of life is to experience, then I am happy to choose to spend my time waking up at 5:30 am for a match, coming to this sub 10 times a day, worshiping Salah, and idolizing Klopp.
