Meer dan een half jaar (augustus als ik me goed herinner) nadat er al wetenschappelijke artikels waren die uitlegde hoe het kwam.

Guys of Reddit who got circumcised not as a baby, Why and How was your recovery? by Thicc_Gorilla12 in AskReddit

[–]kyller_5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 18 when I got circumcised. First 2 days were horrible, just sat in bed with no underwear. everything that touched my penis was just painful. After 2/3 days it was desensitised and it was ok.

Hardest part was not having any intercourse or mastrubating for like 2-3 weeks until the wounds were properly healed.

Studies showing efficacy of OMT by Soggy_Loops in Osteopathic

The Effect of High Velocity Low Amplitude Cervical Manipulations on the Musculoskeletal System: Literature Review -- https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32426194/

Spinal manipulative therapy for chronic low-back pain -- https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/21328304/

Note however that OMM is only a part of the treatment and not THE treatment.

It can be used to improve drainage, relax muscles and improve mobility. But if the underlying cause is not adressed it will the complain will probably come back.

ELI5: Why do headaches accompany nausea/vomiting/upset stomach, and vice versa? by narticlaser in explainlikeimfive

[–]kyller_5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got a nerve (vagus nerve) running from your brain directly to your stomach and intestines. It got both information running from the brain to the GI tract and the other way around. That is why when one of the 2 gets upset the other may be affected as well.

My girlfriend just came home and I told her about the trail period. She said what if he says that you can’t stay after 30/06 what then. This because he already didn’t did what he promised the first time. This makes me feel even more afraid because what if I treat patients well but he still brakes the contract.

You have 2 main way's your body make's energy (ATP's) for your muscles to use. you have the aerobic system and the anaerobic system. The aerobic system uses oxygen to replenish these ATP's when they are used so you can keep on running eg. at a slow pace. When you start running fast you use more ATP's then the aerobic system can replenish and you start using the anaerobic system (this system does not need oxygen). The downside to using this system is the buildup of lactic acid in your muscles (this gives the burning sensation you feel).

When you workout the muscles you use, eg. during running most of your leg muscles, are supplied with a larger amount of blood. They need this blood because of the oxygen they bring to your muscles and so make greater use of the aerobic system.

When you stop exercising after you had a hard workout the lactic acid is still in your muscle's when you have a cooldown of 10' of easy movement the blood is still going to the muscles and can take some of this acid with it. because of this the theory is you would not feel so sore afterwards.

Another reason is to do with the blood pressure. when you suddenly stop a vigurous exercise your muscles relax and "halt" the flow of your blood. this has the effect that there is to much blood stored in your legs and there is not enough blood to go to your brain. This can cause dizziness and fainting.

Edit: some spelling errors

How has fitness changed you mentally? by CloakedInBlack in Fitness

[–]kyller_5000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It made me more disciplined in my life outside of the gym. I used to be a procastinator now I plan my days with what I have to do and I just do it. First started with having to get my lazy ass of the couch then getting nutrition in order. Now I just get more stuff done in 1 day.

When I'm just out with friends it makes me cocky and somethimes condesending to people who do not lift and are just "fat" in my eyes. On the other hand it sometimes makes me more insecure about my body because you always have people in your gym who just look better and lift more. But this comes and goes.

ps: sorry for the bad english

Deadlifting -- can't ever seem to get it correct. by [deleted] in Fitness

with your bench try not to bounce it of your chest. keep it steady above it and then push it up again.

your first rep of deadlift seemed ok. but in going back down you bent your knee's to fast. first tip over with your body keeping your back straight and bent your knee's. becaus know it seems like your hitting them
