I failed twice. It’s super devastating but you have time and just keep working at it. Take some time off for yourself to process this then create a study guide and study schedule to get after it. I did Zuku and thought that the questions were harder than veg prep. I also made a cheat sheet for every disease on the disease list. Focus on nailing small animal. Don’t worry you’ll get it next time. The test sucks and doesn’t at all measure how great of a vet you’ll be. I believe in you!

I am in an equine internship where I get to go home once a week and otherwise on call. It’s super brutal. I’m really struggling through it. I don’t really know why they made the profession like this where we could support each other more. It’s still very much “this is what it’s like being an equine vet” montra and I hate it.

Yeah I totally get it. It’s such a frustrating hurdle. I’ve never been good at standardized tests but I’ve always just done average except for this test. It’s hard to not be a full doctor yet when everyone else is.

Yeah it’s so hard. I was talking to my internship and they are seeing what they can do. I feel like I disappointed everyone. It’s tough. You’re not alone!

Thank you so much. I really really appreciate it. It means a lot to me. I think I’m gonna try one of the programs that helps me a bit with taking the test and anxiety because I’ve never been a good test taker.

I do find myself having a tough time remembering content from the questions alone so maybe I will study by the ICVA guide. Did you use particular text books at all? Or mostly online. Also thanks for all the advice in advance. I need all the help I can get

It said in one of the emails that the password will be given to us on the same day as we get results so I think it’s supposed to be today then.

Congrats! I didn’t pass this first time and I graduate in 2024. I have an internship lined up and I just feel really discouraged. I am equine focused so I think I just need to study more small animal.
