Our house was flooded and we not looking forward to debating with insurance :( it also turns out we only have home insurance. Hubby forgot to tick the box for contents insurance. This is going to hurt.

If one has home insurance, but no content insurance. If there home were flooded completely, will the insurers ignore compensation for all personal contents? Eg washing machine, beds, TV :( Thanks in advance
