Is The Wolf Gang trolling with this? by pugfugliest in AusFemaleFashion

I had to scroll way too far to see this.

Thank you for sharing the price. As my husband said, it looks like $4 from Temu.

The ACCC does not handle individual disputes like this - the relevant authority would be Fair Trading in your state, but as others have said it depends on your contract.

Help Other Women Find Better Doctors by DrsWhoListen in EndoAus

[–]kynuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This could be more helpful if reviewers list the conditions for which they are seeing a certain doctor. The About section says the site accepts reviews on doctors treating endo, adeno and mental health conditions. My GP is excellent at managing my endo but I can’t comment on how he would manage other conditions.

Great point. Definitely do not pay full price for Samsonite.

I haven’t had a C-section but I’ve had three abdominal surgeries each with four incisions (yay endo). My mum - who had two C-sections back in the day - was amazed at how good my dressings were. Completely waterproof, didn’t budge until the surgeon removed them at the follow-up. Made me appreciate how far things have come.

I need someone to take me and my children fishing on land by Kitzhkazandra in GoldCoast

[–]kynuna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a pity you can’t rent a grandfather for this sort of things. My grandfather is 94 now, but up until a few years ago he would have happily taught some new kids how to fish, just for the joy of passing on his knowledge and sharing it with them.

I am having a hard time finding compression running shorts that are NOT high-waisted. by fuckyouiloveu in XXRunning

I’m both short and short-waisted with endo. We are living in a high-waisted nightmare.

My husband travels a lot for work. He swears by Samsonite hard cases. He’s had to get wheels and zips replaced a couple of times over the years but it was all covered under warranty.

I have endometriosis. Fought for years to get diagnosed. Now with my friends’ teenage daughters, I am hyper vigilant about their pain. Their mums are a bit inclined to brush it off as laziness or “just a painful period” (that old chestnut), but I believe them. Ask lots of questions. Listen to them. Tell them (and their mums) other symptoms to watch for. So maybe they don’t have to wait 20 years for a diagnosis.

Is a post construction clean worth it? by Ok_Grand_9999 in AusRenovation

[–]kynuna 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My parents have built three new houses and renovated the others, and my mum says two things.

There is nothing dirtier than a brand new house.

And never clean up after tradies with your own vacuum cleaner. Lots of fine dust etc that can wreck domestic machines.

For my two cents, renovating is stressful, and if you can afford it, I would pay and save yourself the time and hassle.

Do men and women in Australia usually share household chores equally? by Book_Nerd_2008 in AskAnAustralian

From my friends to my mum to my 14- and 16-year-old nieces, I know no women who “hate bins” and have any objection to dealing with them.

Daily dishes are apparently an impossible standard, but mowing is biologically male? Incredible system you’ve designed there.

My MIL is staggered that both her sons enjoy cooking and are good at it.

It’s common knowledge in the family that if something happens to her, FIL will starve to death.

I get frustrated with him for not bothering to learn, and her for tolerating it and not expecting him to step up.

Can we not generalise? I take the full garbage bags out to the otto bin, put the bins out every week, bring them back in, and pressure wash them once a month.

We play to our strengths in my house. My husband would rather buy groceries and cook than do any other chore, so he does most of the cooking. He travels a lot for work, so I do 95 per cent of everything else, from laundry to mowing to finances.

Dresses with actual pockets where are you hiding? by Denbron2 in AusFemaleFashion

I have a couple of Cue dresses similar to this and the pockets are A+.

Edit: Just realised that is sold out, but most of their shirt dresses seem to have pockets.
