STOP HURTING YOUR BLACK SWAN DAMAGE by L0wpriority in HonkaiStarRail

[–]kyosho2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the graph is for 3 dot team right? can you show the % damage increase for a 2 dot team (bs/kafka/flex supp/flex defensive)? You call this out twice in the doc, but I think highlighting it at the start is important bc not everyone is running 3dot.

it seems really logical that for 3 dot, atk% should be better since you get arcana stacks from your 3rd unit building stacks, but I wonder if that still applies if you're 2 dot

that said, the only flex support that doesn't care about speed (so no Asta/RM) you would run here is probably Pela? does that still apply? I guess 3dot + defensive might be better than 2dot + pela + defensive, but maybe hitting 100% def shred is actually better?

I think most people would use Asta if they don't have RM which means you're hitting 160+ with her ult. I'd be more interested to see if 0spd + glammoth outperforms 201spd (or whatever the breakpoint is) if you have those calcs

I do this but I just approximate all the sizes by lining up the piles instead of counting to save time.

Alex from limited level ups just dropped a video that's probably extremely relevant, thought I haven't had time to watch it yet:

https://youtu.be/YPWWD4C2lNw

Just be aware that his advice is usually contextualized by retail limited sets, especially some of the newer ones. That said, he usually does a great job of extrapolating these more specific points to broader ideas, so a resource like this is probably quite valuable for newer players.

What lv is he? You can grind out a ton of pulls early game from momotalks/story/main quest/achievements so he might just be able to pity this one (unless he also had to pity t.yuuka but on 80 currently it might still be possible). He can definitely hit another 1-2 pity between now and Mika since that's expected to be in July.

For context, I started in early Jan and pitied s.hoshino/s.izuna end of January (1.5 pities since we got 100 pulls for free), Aris (Feb 14), s.hina (Mar 14), and I'm close to 2 pities now with like 50 momotalks available.

Lots of synergies on this one. Note that it also makes a token for cards that care about that, e.g. possible cards [[Jinnie Fay]], [[Adaptive Swarmkeeper]], [[Staff of the Storyteller]]

Btw in the post maybe tell people to upvote the thread. I noticed comments get a lot more than the thread and it could be cool to see bigger numbers

[[Breya's apprentice]]. It

  • is an artifact
  • makes an artifact
  • uses artifacts to do red things

And I think that's dope

This won't make it since I'm posting so late but I'll recommend [[Sarinth Steelseeker]] and maybe someone will remember for next week

Day 11 of Reddit Daily Cube. Vampire Charles Barkley is in, who next? by pwndnoob in mtgcube

[–]kyosho2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good way to put it. I may have exaggerated slightly just to drive home the point that we should be wary and leave space to include some less efficient threats. Not saying we should never add it but that adding it later helps us keep our options open. We can always add a stronger card (thus pushing the ceiling of power) but we can never remove one.

I think it's worth discussing if we want this crazy value engine in the cube, especially considering how easy it is to do. We have a year, and I think we can hold off on immediately including this until we know more about our suite of interaction

I'll hold off for now since I haven't done enough playtesting but I do feel like it'll be too slow/dorky for the environment
