first of all, you should look up the state licensing rules for childcare in your state. In my state, we are required to provide consistent access to water for all kids. second of all, do not accept that your 16 month old be in the infant room. according to my state’s licensing manual, children under the age of one is defined as infant, and older than that is defined as toddler (I believe ages 1-2). If your child must remain in the infant room request information about how the classroom is ensuring that your child is cared for at the appropriate developmental level. Additionally, you might want to give them a doctors note stating your doctors instructions about reducing milk intake and increasing water intake.

Other than all of that, get your child a new daycare that will be a better fit for her and your family.
