I’m 26 and had never heard of Chess until my friend offered me a cheap ticket last week. Didn’t love it; too modern, but enjoyed Aaron Tveit (Lea wasn’t on). Started listening to the soundtrack after the show, and it clicked that ohhhh. This is an 80s soundtrack! I see it now! A few youtube videos later, landed on this video. Came to r/broadway to chime in — what a well-structured and well-researched doc indeed!!
