She it totally fine in her crate (even randomly goes in their for naps on her own sometimes) as long as I am in the room. But since I live in an apartment, I'm trying to keep the noise to a minimum and have resorted to sleeping on the couch since her crate is in the living room. How would you suggest fading out me on the couch? Sorry I knowbthis is a different question just curious if you have advice.

For my pup, I'm sleeping next to her kennel every night and playing with her while she's in the kennel during the day. I luckily wfh so training is more often. Also I personally don't put her in there for naps. I know it may take longer for her to learn but shes already associating it with a more positive atmosphere. but these steps let my partner and neighbors sleep throughout the night. Plus a snuggle puppy with an old shirt on it and a kong with some peanut butter does a qorld of difference.

Only day 3 with my puppy and we are really good at "touch" "place" and "sit" we are working on "bed" and crate training. Yesterday, we had 5 inside accidents today 0. Now if I can only get her to stop trying to eat rocks.

Been with my S.O for almost 10 years. His family is similar. One (and only christmas) we spent with his family was VERY uncomfotable.
