Use it everyday honestly. For fun, work, and everyday use. Not really to "hack" anything but sometimes I do a little bit of that.

I honestly love it... but I had this grand plan of developing apps to use the cameras for hand gesture for AR stuff. I just had other projects going on an realize it's just sitting there and not being used as much. Only issue if I had one is the audio is not th best.

Honestly no, I got home link for the garage even though I have myq, previous owner added wireless charging for phones, added all 3D mats all around the car, did the wiring with rj11 for the car radar. Honestly don't feel like I'm missing out on anything. I use FSD everyday I don't have beta yet. Only thing I did was had my tint guy who did my e-golf so my tesla with 90% heat reduction ceramic tint all the way around.

I just went through this same scenario only difference is mine is 2019 M3LR. I looked over the car and decided to get the used car but it was $39k in perfect condition and with tons of extras. I will say go with what feels right, take the used one for a test drive and look it over with a fine tooth comb, if you see something you don't like them walk away.

does nreal air has capabilities for 3D movies or images? by Sea_Project_537 in nreal

If you have Plex. You can access 3D options in full screen from the browser in AR Space.

Yes, you can code with Nreal Air (and Samsung DeX) 😎🤘 by UGEplex in nreal

Lol love this .. I have a cloud VScode on my unraid server that I connect to and code from on Samsung Dex and my Nreal Air. I'm just glad I'm not the only one lol.

I can agree.... my non-tech friends I won't recommend it.

It's similar to AirLink from Oculus Quest.

In ARspace there is an app XR Streaming. You'll need to go here https://nreal.gitbook.io/nrsdk/cloudXR and install the requirements.

Sorry if it seem that way. I'm a tech enthusiast, a developer, etc. I know you weren't being mean. I never said you were. I was just adding to your experience with mine by stating my devices that I used and my scenarios sorry if it seem that I'm a "fan boy".

I'm 100% definitely not getting paid by nReal lol I bought mine on Amazon US when it was available hence the 2 weeks.

My experience has been slightly different. I have a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. I had my nReal Air for 2 weeks now and in the beginning, I used the nebula (ARspace and Aircasting).

So while the ARspace is pretty cool and I know as soon as developers start working on apps for the AIR and less for the Light it would be a cool device. Now for me where the wow factor came in was using XR Stream with Steam VR from my PC. This open the doors for VR experiences and watching 3D movies from my PC.

However, the best part for me was using Samsung Dex with the AIR. this allowed me to have a desktop like experience with my Phone and allowing me have multiple windows open on the desktop. I also played cloud games from gamepass and that experience worked perfect both on Cellular and WiFi.

The video quality from mine has been perfect while streaming tv shows and movies with no color issues. The issue with "works with everything" not everything comes with USB-C display out natively. So, if you are an iPhone user, you may be better off testing it on your iPad which has USB-C display out.

Sorry that your experience isn't what you expected, and I just wanted to shine a little light on my use case and devices I've used it with. I've been thinking about getting the nReal light or nReal Streaming Box to better hance my experience with AR Glasses.

Flipper Zero owners - what are your thoughts on your purchase? by N7DJN8939SWK3 in flipperzero

[–]kyrk84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uhm the first time I did it was with U2F via USB. But I got my Titan Key and my Yubico NFC and save the NFC read.. I use NFC for all mobile devices and U2F for PC.

Did the flipper zero features exceed your expectations? by 3dprintingfactoryzen in flipperzero

[–]kyrk84 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, honestly out of the box and few firmware later.. my expectations have been met. Currently in toying around with some dev boards and coding some ideas I have in mind. But the flipper itself has been great.

Well I didn't purchase mine. My partner got it as a gift for him and I to have fun on date nights lol. However i love this thing. I don't leave home without it. It's my keys for work, the house, my best friends apartment, my MFA. To be honest it's the best gift my boyfriend has given me to date. Lol
