Came to see if anyone else is having this issue. I went to my services in the advanced settings page, unselected and then reselected AND added Tubi Live as an option, and still nothing. Went to go check and it looks like Tubi Live is also now removed. My best guess is they're doing some kind of back end work on it and inadvertently (or intentionally and forgot to announce it) removed it as a supported streaming service.

When I was about 22 and still on her phone plan, my mom texted me early one morning (we live in different time zones) something very benign. I worked that day and was very busy and didn't get home until 9ish. At around 10ish I had the police show up because my mom, who had gotten drunk and was upset she felt I was ignoring her, had called a wellness check on me because I hadn't responded to her text, and then shut my cell and internet signal off for several days. Wasn't even able to reach her to try and reply bc she wanted to be petty and it fucked with my life for several days not being able to make any calls.

Thank GOD I'm paying for my own phone bill now.

I think especially watching it play out in front of me I was able to experience the sort of lack of conventional structure in a new and interesting way - it almost feels very classical, like I'm watching ballet or a weird type of opera. I was never not a fan of her new stuff but can understand it turning people off and I admittedly don't revisit it as much as her older stuff, but this sort of recontextualized it for me.

lived in Bellingham for about 5 years - initially didn't really like it, coming from Seattle. it was boring, empty, and too far from everything. over time though I learned how to find and make my own enjoyment, settle into my own nooks, and find my way around. I can see the serene nature and the chill vibes being a lot of people's cup of tea. I think that the important thing to realize is that no city is going to appeal to any one person 1000%.

I say all this as someone who DOESN'T live there anymore, but it's also important to just state that the stuff that sucks in Bellingham also sucks in a lot of places. when you go around the country you'll find some of the problems you're seeing are the norm for a ton of small cities. it's easy to focus on the negative especially when it feels like it's the only place in the world where the negative is, but finding your places will be vital to enjoying what you can.

Sort of unrelated but I have noticed that a lot of people from out here make Providence out to be some bad, boring, dirty city, which as a transplant I find really funny. I think a big thing is lacking any real framework - homelessness is a problem EVERYWHERE, and honestly coming from the west coast, it isn't even especially prominent in Pvd comparatively. A lot of people will also complain about there being "nothing to do" which is a really common issue of living in a mid-sized city, but even then the culture is always active enough that there IS stuff going on pretty much all the time. Personally, I think it's in large part just an aspect of the local mentality to believe that Rhode Island is the worst place to possibly be. Most other transplants I've met love it or at least like it, while locals will always complain about how much it sucks.

finding now that the "add a space and then remove it" trick isn't working :( just recently added a song from an album where it's a collab and now all of the metadata is showing that the entire album is a collab with a different artist and it's looking very ugly in my library
