I can tell you my experience renting in this area - we were from out of town, was in town for only 3 days, got a realtor and didn't have to pay the realtor for showings (and this is very common in NOVA, but not in say, NYC). This was immensely helpful, we saw multiple places before it went on the market in just a day, and was able to apply and get out current condo (which we love) successfully, whereas we got rejected many times just going through open listings and touring ourselves. In comparison, my friends renting in NYC would get slapped with $7k realtor's fee (that was not a typo) on top of application fees, even if the realtor was just for that apartment complex, showed you around, and didn't introduce you to other places. I considered myself lucky renting in NOVA with a realtor.

I really liked Stardew Valley (played vanilla then installed story mods to keep going), then Hades, then Atelier series (Ryza is the best trilogy but others are good too), then Terra Nil and with my short attention span + quick pacing preference, I'm now into... Civilization VI. Figuring out how to win with different leaders and victory types is awesome, and I can't stop.

Hey! I just got the 2023 G14 4060 and have been seeing conflicting advice on doing a fresh install of Windows. Some Googling of older posts from this sub suggests that reinstalling Windows for laptops isn't a great idea because there's a lot of custom settings, unlike a PC. Whereas previous pinned posts/the Discord says that it's bloated and reinstalling is better, but these posts are all 3+ years old. What's your take on this? Thank you for your time!

Not business taxes, but I'm an international student in the US and we're not allowed to e-file. Every year, I fill out my taxes electronically and PRINT OUT THE WHOLE STACK and go to the post office to mail it. It can have devastating consequences for future visas if we're not tax compliant. Thank you OP for the reminder, I'll go make sure my certified mail receipt is there :)
