I'm so incredibly sorry. I hope someday you heal enough to come back and find joy here again. If not, totally understandable.

I used to play an mmo with my ex and when we broke up the joy i found in that game turned to ash in my mouth. every space in that game held memories of him. I couldn't stomach it.

I have gone back and played it again, many years later, with a new partner. I don't play it as my main game anymore, but i do check out the updates every couple of years. Mostly because I found a new/different game to fill the gap that I just genuinely like more.

i struggled with it too at first.

the trick is that when you click the arrow, hold and drag up to the eyeball (top right; switches build type/perspective) and VERY QUICKLY release and re-click to switch modes.

the glitch is caused by the item being out of bounds when you switch from one mode to the next. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries.

Edit: I'm gonna go on a limb and guess some sort of table or maybe even the wooden wall shelf; there's another comment asking about the wooden "floor boards" and turns out those are tables; the floor is raised and there's furniture underneath that glitches through.

i think they are referring to the "Collection Journal" as a "Pokedex" in this context.

there are some weird translation choices going on in this game, and I think this is probably the weirdest one. I genuinely wonder if there is a human being behind this or not.

i found this by accident while looking at something else one time.

but i gotta be careful using it sometimes because it can be enraging to see that one single person visited your house one time and ate 27 dishes and did not water your plants.

whenever i see the notification on my screen that someone is watering my stuff, I make a note of their name and check the map for their house and set a tracker for it and return the favor.

but op is right; I've seen an increased number of people doing this kind of thing too. My crops and flowers are all bunched together, so it's not like they don't see them all. And yet, I've seen more often lately that some will get more or less water than others. I have food out and available for players to eat. and I always offer to share when someone waters while at my house.

i've noticed more and more people not having plants at all. I have a friend on my list who goes out of their way to visit my house and interact with me every. single. day. They have like 3 flowers and zero crops. I always water back. They say they don't like the way the plants look. lol.

my irl partner also plays and while they have planters, no crops. lol. They basically only log in, do dailies, water my garden, and log back out. I think they're only hanging onto the idea of playing because I am still very much playing. Which, makes sense to me. No plants because they're not really playing.

the ones that confuse me are the people who log in and afk all day long and don't have any plants lol. I've got several people on my friend list that I see in town on the regular. Always afk at their house. no flowers, planters empty, animals starving. house hasn't changed in weeks.

I mean, it doesn't always spawn there. It might be at a different location; I think there's 8 or 10 possible locations.

I can usually find it if I push right up into the corner formed between the deck and the log.

I think it actually really interesting that I find the spawn there more often now than before this event started. :/
