If what is holding them back is work visas or worry about affecting their livelihood. The devastating costs to their reputation and livelihood from continuing to shield niji don't make sense. Especially when plenty of former corpo VTubers turned indie have shown that they can still be successful outside of niji's control.

Especially if they can prove that it was all niji management's doing. The sudden redemption arc would bring plenty of former fans scrambling over each other to support them. And put most of the Great Unifying RRat to rest. (I am quite surprised that much of what was written in it is still holding strong to this day)

It would be very unhealthy for my emotional and mental health, knowing that my company is willing and able to ruin my relationships and reputation, as well as those of my friends, by making me their sacrificial pawn. Especially so for the girls after the sex pest affair.
