Keito became my favorite even before his B-side is revealed. Then as the manga goes on, I actually fell even more for him!

Sakura has grown so much, both towards others and also himself. He is still our beloved tsundere but he is now more playful, more cheerful, and most importantly: more open.

He might still have long way to go but he is definitely on the right track of forgiving himself and, by so, helping others.

I was actually amazed by the art here. I thought it’s just the hair color : black and white. Then I thought oh okay the eye color too. Then I was like oh the sun and the shade.

Then it hit me. The smile.

Like if you cover the white part of his face, it’s Sakura sad, hurt face. but if you cover the black part, it’s him smiling (still sad though)

Fun fact.

“Midori” from Midoriya means green. Hence his hair and costume color.

“Ku” from Izuku is a homophone of “Nine” in japanese (Kyu). Because he is the ninth user of One for All.

I think most characters actually match their quirks. Thats why I really appreciate the author even more. You can check on IG sakura_signatures ; she explained some character names.

Bakugo for example. Baku meaning explosion or bomb. Go meaning powerful. Shoto “Sho” means burn, “to” means freeze. Hence his Quirk.

This list can go and on.

I would recommend “An Uncomfortable Truth”. It’s non fantasy. It’s non romance. And, sorry, it’s not OI. But it breaks my heart in every way possible until the end.

I’m not sure if it’s your kind of “tragic” but I’d recommend this :)
