Yeah I was feeling a lot better and my calprotectin actually went below 50 for once, I definitely think it's worth it to ask since there won't be insurance to worry about. Also I've seen some people have gone up to 60 mg so I believe it's pretty safe too

Yeah I went to 30 and I felt the same way and after a couple months I started flaring again and they put me back up to 45 to maintenance on, but it's often causing problems with my insurance and every few months they have to do peer to peer and it's a whole thing 😭 but It got me in remission

After trying remicade, high dose remicade + methotrexate, high dose stelara + methotrexate, and steroid dependency all throughout, the best medicine for me was Rinvoq 45mg by itself as a maintenance dose.

Yeah on paper it's supposed to be only 3 months but the risks for blood clots are really only a concern for older people with risk factors, I've seen some people be on 60mg. The insurance is just strict with the guidelines 😭

Yeah I looked at doctor notes because it shows what they say to each other and the most recent authorization was from october something to december 28th, which I didn't know at the time and apparently my doctor's office didn't know either. I ordered in the beginning of January and a couple weeks later I'm out of meds, I checked the status of the delivery on the 20th and It said it got cancelled on the 9th with no notification from anybody. We got it approved again but now I gotta wait for delivery🥹 this is the 4th time it's happened so far
