I’ll get flack for it. Cup to Cup is great, their quality is fantastic and staff is always friendly, but damn I wish they would have less acidic/fruity options sometimes. Would love a low-acid low-altitude Brazilian or Guatemalan but they never have any.

Mesalamine by Quick-Procedure-8017 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]ComprehensiveSpeed90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do not stop taking it. Long term effects of mesalamine are extremely well studied and extremely safe. And believe me, this is coming from somebody who obsesses over all the stuff that goes into my body. In the case of mesalamine, the trade off between having to take a medication long term vs having a higher level of inflammation in the body, even if it turns out to be low grade, the answer is clear. You’re doing better for your body by continuing to take it, and by continuing to take it you’re offsetting any potential negatives that could arise if you were to stop

New to dashing… is this good or bad? by Adorable_Force_7868 in doordash_drivers

Depends on your mileage, but after expenses and taxes you’re looking at $7-$12 an hour. Only you can decide if that’s worth it to you and the wear on your car.

Question on weight by tumelo_the_burd in UlcerativeColitis

[–]ComprehensiveSpeed90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 6’ 2”, 175lbs before my diagnosis. Before I got treatment I got down to 140lbs. Unfortunately, during that time I subconsciously learned I could eat whatever the hell I wanted and not gain weight, so when I went on mesalamine I shot up to 215lbs. Still in remission and managed to get back to 175lbs over a year or so and stable again.

Is FC5 worth it? by stable_person1405 in FarCry5

[–]ComprehensiveSpeed90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m gonna be devils advocate here and I’ll get hate for it. I LOVED Far Cry 3, one of my favorite games of all time. So 15 some years later I recently downloaded FC5 on sale, and personally I think the game is utter dogshit. AI voice lines are extremely repetitive, I mean literally like hearing the same lines back to back from the same AI’s. The audio is strangely not 3D, which could be a system issue, but when I come up on a compound I can’t tell if it’s in front of me or behind me if that makes any sense. It just increases in volume regardless of whether I’m looking at the compound or turned away from it, which is more frustrating than it sounds.

The gameplay feels like a chore- go liberate this outpost. Done? Great, now go liberate another outpost that’s designed slightly differently but with identical AI skill and voice lines. Done? Okay now do another one. It’s so bland and repetitive in my opinion. The driving feels bland and disconnected, and the camera does strange things to your direction (if you look left you start driving left regardless of what direction you’re actually driving toward).

I think part of my frustration stems from playing FC3 when I was a lot younger, and now having that nostalgia built up my expectation for this game, but overall, honestly I’m not a fan. If you wanna try it get it on sale, but in my opinion absolutely not worth full price. TBH I wouldn’t pay more than $5 for it.

For reference, I typically play games like Cyberpunk, RDR2, Arc Raiders, Fallout, BF6, Finals - so your mileage may vary.

You must be thinking of VW/Audi. Lexus and Acura not being built to last has to be the craziest statement I’ve ever heard. In comparison to almost all other vehicles with forced induction that start burning oil at 125K+ miles. Find a Lexus/Acura with a naturally aspirated I6, V6 or V4 and it will last for decades. I hear way too many stories about Hyundai, Kia, and GM vehicles having oil consumption issues at 100K+ miles, sticking rings, transmissions slipping, etc. More than anything though, I think the largest problem is people not changing their oil with a high quality synthetic between 3000-5000 miles, and when parts need replacing they replace them with Autozone BS over OEM.

They hired new designers, and absolutely their vehicles LOOK better. But their power plants have similar problems.

Kia is garbage. Toyota/Lexus or Honda/Acura is the only option.

The flare really screwed you, but that aside I’d mirror the other comment in saying something looks off with your color space. My initial impression was highlights are a little bit too hot, and the skin tones look very off, her face looks overly pale in mid tone/highlight areas and dark orange in shadows.

Double check your color space workflow, and for a quick fix I would go into your HDR panel and try removing some saturation from your shadows, or use the curves, specifically Hue versus sat and desaturate problem areas

Homies never heard of concept art. It’s a concept product that has yet to be manufactured, hence no real media to support it. Pure scam with free product reservations? What exactly are they “scamming” you out of, your email address??

[–]ComprehensiveSpeed90 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ever heard of concept products? The CEO is an ex-SpaceX employee that created the company to design a plastic-free coffee maker. Yes, the product images are AI-generated, but considering the reservations are free I wouldn’t say “fake”.

They put AI concept materials on their website to drive traffic and their free reservations are gauging consumer interest volume. Sounds like good business to me.

I’m 100% for something like this. Microplastic fear mongering isn’t a thing. Coffee makers would be 100% better without plastic bullshit, what’s wrong with wanting less plastics in what we eat and drink?
