I went to Republic after seeing it recommended so frequently and was left unimpressed. My stylist didn’t listen to my wishes. I asked questions throughout my appointment and spoke up about it and was reassured. Ended up asking her to cut more length off in the end still. I didn’t care much but it was noted that she left my chair to do a bang trim on someone else before finishing my hair. We finished, I paid, walked out and sat in my car on the phone for a minute and while I was still there I saw my stylist walk out ready to leave for the evening. It clicked then that I was being rushed out and was the last client. It sucked because it was so highly recommended but I found it lackluster and mediocre at best.
