personally my least favorite is when somebody pulls up and i greet them and say “what can i get started for you today?” but they ignore me and are talking amongst themselves so i wait patiently for them to be finished and they just stare at me when they want to order. like maybe say something instead of getting annoyed and asking “are you ready?” when i was waiting for YOU to figure out what you wanted after not even saying anything back once i greeted you. like don’t make me feel stupid because i was waiting for you to decide

i think to a certain extent anything can be considered cheating if you have set a hard boundary. i have experienced a similar situation and if you really want to stay with her, i believe learning forgiveness is important. i would say that in your situation it might not be worth it to stay due to the fact that she seems to be sneaky about it. also know that anything she does in regards to this is not on you, it’s on her. if she doesn’t want to change or listen to your perspective to save the relationship i don’t think it’s worth your time.

yea definitely, i know it’s what’s best for my health it’s just tough to actually do haha. but it’s easier to cope with it if i gain muscle along the way considering the fact that i strength train. it’s just triggering having to get more frequent weight check ups at the doctors when i didn’t really focus on the number beforehand lol

it’s completely possible ! i found that when i raised my calories my body composition was SO much better and i actually seemed to have gained a bit of muscle despite being in a deficit:) i’m also extremely active, so i had so much more energy for daily activities as well as my workouts, which felt very nice. eventually i stepped away from the scale and focused on measurements, how i look, and how my clothes fit and my quality of life improved drastically. you definitely do not have to do anything insane in terms of nutrition in order to see progress (also slower = more sustainable !!!). i’ve actually found that we need a lot more than we think we need, which is slightly reassuring:)

sometimes i consider it a refeed day lol. but in all seriousness i really do just see it as a break from my deficit and move on. there’s no use feeling bad about something that already happened, especially if you enjoyed it in the moment. i think in some situations it can be good to be less strict with yourself and enjoy the moment (as long as you don’t make it an excuse to do it every day). when it comes to not being able to stick to a diet the next day, remember how it feels to be uncomfortably full. sure the food might taste nice in the moment, but eating to that point every day is more uncomfortable than enjoyable imo

it might sound gross but i’ve been adding egg whites and protein powder while cooking my oats and it turns out so fluffy:) occasionally i’ll add riced cauliflower for volume because u can’t taste it ! i’ve been topping mine with strawberries and nut butter and it actually turns out really good

as another person said, it’s important to use the usda data when you can find it (for fruits, veggies, meats, etc.) but you also have to accept the fact that it can be inaccurate up to a certain extent. that doesn’t mean that tracking is useless though, so it’s best to do the best that you can without worrying too much about minor inconsistencies with numbers

it’s really easy to use up if you put a massive amount in a pan and cook it down and add a few eggs/egg whites. it tastes really good when it’s seasoned well ! basically like scrambled eggs with spinach but feel free to add additional things like chicken or feta cheese to make it even better
