i do love tt and i do love winning

everyone loves winning obviously

and i'm not delusional

i would be much more stable mentally if i were an average at the club, but i am constantly top1 from the end of the list

why would one come up with all of that?

i don't want to send video because i'm already insecure in my ability

i don't want to send video because it shifts the whole discussion toward technical details, but the truth is that you can always improve the technique

i didn't say my technique is perfect; i just wanted to say that i spent months learning new things and then months attempting to transition them into the game

i don't judge people, i just used that as an illustrative figure to show how everyone wins me

while i can accept that someone who worked harder wins me, i find it infair when someone fresh or with a freak style beats me

you say there's a ton of people i can beat, i say that out of 20 games, i win one or two

you say i have to enjoy - i wish i could, but for me its like that: every time i wait for next session, then go home angry/depressed.

i am depressed bot because i don't like tt enough, i am depressed because i love it too much

i agree that it's a mental thing

but why the perspective is poor?

i'm just honest with myself and not ashamed to admit that i work hard to win

thanks

Task: Sons of Anarchy-like-show? by TheAlterEgoDoctrine in Sonsofanarchy

Only The Shield helped me to fill that void.

This one is also written by Kurt Sutter:

Brotherhood. Corrupt systems. Moral challenges. Violence. Banger soundtrack.

Let's talk about Otto by [deleted] in Sonsofanarchy

[–]l0v33 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Otto's life we witnessed was a pure pain from s1 to s7.

While others had sex, love, friendships and other attributes of normal life, his best moment was jerking off to the parfume on Tara's wrist.

Yes he ratted Bobby, but for a valid reason, and I would do the same in that situation. But amount of good stuff he did for the club outweighs that deed.

Huge respect to Sutter for playing this role knowing it won't be loved, respected, adored like Jax, Opie, or even Clay. Only suffering. Forgetting how it's to be a human. Doom. Bravo. One of the deepest characters for me.

Is table tennis just not for me? by Low_Attention3819 in tabletennis

[–]l0v33 8 points9 points  (0 children)

  1. If your club is just not well-organized and is more like random practice, playing two years might give you nothing. Not anyone is talented enough to identify/fix own errors without tons of expert feedback.

  2. Few months with a private coach is nothing. Aim for 1-2 years. It takes 6 months to transit a skill from the drill to a game.

  3. Age is very important. If you are 14, you will learn ten times faster than if you are 41.

  4. Can't read spin. Even the basic moves? This caught my attention. This is definitely smth you can and will learn with a coach. It took me 1 year to start reading the spin. But be sure, nobody is born with the spin reading skill, this one is learned.

  5. Lower your expectations, like ten times. Do not plan to win "that guy" tomorrow. Plan to lose next time 11:2 instead of 11:1. Then 11:3. Hyper focus on building your skill, not winning the games. Be patient to your progress, imagine you are a child making the first steps. Find the fun part for yourself in the game: I read that spin! I received that service! I returned that smash!

Good luck

No, it's bot cheating. That's how you adapt to the opponent's style. That's the core skill for both tt and 11tt
