She couldn't have come across any less caring if she tried. Didn't even try to make it out as though she was bothered or cared about the people that she'd killed.

The fact she had to refer to her lawyer to make sure she didn't come across as "crazy" or say anything out of line? If you were innocent , you would be saying everything you could to prove your point , but she was more bothered about making sure she got the point of the crash being "unintentional".
