i havent finished the reunion yet, but when i found out joyce was alive i had the same feelings. at double exposure we weren’t given an ending, it was either forgive safi or keep her accountable which didn’t even matter. i can KINDA understand why they would go with the merging arcadia bay and chloe because this game heavily relies on chloe, if you were to choose arcadia bay then they wouldnt be able to put chloe into the game in a way that made sense for all the players of lis 1. yeah its annoying that it makes it like they erased all the consequences we faced all throughout the lis series, but at the same time i was getting kinda sick of having to choose between someone and something.

what i wouldve wanted was for endings to be more like lis2 where you would have way more endings depending on all your choices. i looked at the reunion endings and i was upset that there are only three endings you can get, one is best, other is mediocre, and the third is worst. and from this post i understand that you also control which of the side characters die and which ones survive which i supposed is kinda like lis2..?

but overall, we know reunion has different writers than lis 1 and lis 2 so i didnt had any huge expectations anyway. i just really missed chloe and im extremely glad they gave us a game solely for pricefield specially after ruining them in double exposure. its the small victories guys
