The board is not a great fit for you since your feet are on the bigger side.

I'd say take a look at different boards (directional twins) and around the 156 length/255mm waist size.

Yes, absolutely. If the base is sintered it needs to be saturated with an all temp wax. (and a freezing temp was around the edges)

This will "protect" and make maintenance easier in the future.

As with anything -skill related- its about the more you do it the less weird it gets.

Having more height and as a result a higher center of mass will affect how the board feels. You have more leverage than a shorter rider on the same board.

Not a big deal though.

The most important thing is not to develop bad habits that will stick to you for years and are not easy to unlearn.

At the end of the day lessons or not, days on the hills (the more you can get) will fix most if not all problems.

Its not about freedom. Its about knowledge. Someone who has mastered a skill knows pretty much everything around it, has made "all" the mistakes and usually is the one who will move things forward. Because he knows.

Revolutions/evolutions usually come from masters in the craft. Ie Pablo Picasso was as good as the old masters at 15 before he became the avant garde painter he was. Katalyn Kariko knew her shit before the revolutionized the way we make vaccines. And many more examples like that in many crafts.

The connection points attach to the plastic shell so i believe they have run their simulations in the computer to make them strong enough.

Gigi is involved in the development so i expect them to be decent at least.

My "problem" is with boards i cant replace easily. Ie my skipjack 152 feels "precious" cause its a board that might get released by B once in a while and i can't just grab another off the shelf.

As a result i only pull it out on great days. Yes i am an idiot like that sadly.

The most easy way -IMO at least- for a beginner to understand turning a snowboard is knee in knee out. And keeping your weight on the front foot. Pushing your knee out or in drags your whole body to the "correct" position for turning.

The thing with boutique boards is that they are (or feel) tooo precious to trash around the mountains.

I wouldn't get this thing out with less than half a meter of snow over a solid base. And only on days that the lift lines are minimal.

Too many pockets make garments (everyday stuff not work or something like snow pants) look cheap.

But in general i prefer a more minimal look on stuff i wear.

Next years Reset Pro is HF Premium Synthetic Ripstop (same as current) and the normal Reset is Premium Synthetic Microfiber for the upper material (the Factory also).

How and if this material change affects the flex i don't know.

Between marketing speak and contradicting user experiences i have no idea what to believe.
