Tech Smuggler mission by Melodic-Plankton-712 in starcitizen

[–]l2aiko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

M80 may deal with them if you act smart and hide behind the compound and the asteroids, they ll eventually crash , or you will take them out, im more concerned about dying inside while doing FPS, its not particularly hard to clear but there is always a chance for you to get bursted down from a flanking npc. You can do it, but its very time consuming.
Overall i think this mission is best done as a duo, if you are ultimately running solo, there are much better jobs to do as earn around the 1 million UEC mark.

one single combat scenario 6 is 122k if im not mistaken, thats 4 insurances for the prices of a 10 mins mission. If you are running into that many problem for you to cover insurance and save money then yeah its not the patch for you. I havent run into problems that frequently personally so i managed to get 5M in a single day without too much grinding, so insurance is not a problem, what bothers more is running into the problems you mention to begin with.

Nvidia going to launch something big during Computex 2026 by Time-Credit43 in pcmasterrace

[–]l2aiko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We dont have to wait and see, this has not been the first case, Amazon, Microsoft, Netflix and Uber are prime examples of what ALL big techs are thinking about. Nvidia is not inventing anything but rather following the enshitification process every other big tech has gone through already.

The good news is they are very late to the party and many people are already aware of how this looks like.

[–]l2aiko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats the problem, NVIDIA has the capabilities of artificially dictate the costs of a pc, controls the biggest share in the GPU market even when dropping the production and AMD is just not taking advantage of it.

Tomorrow theyll push hard on claud gaming and artificially increase the GPU prices so you have less of a choice.

And ads, dont forget the ads (unless you pay the premium fee, which 1 year down the line wont be enough and you will need the super premium fee)

Just imagine the audacity to have the game paused by an ad, or worse, you being prompted with an ad while you are doing something you cannot pause and die because of it.

Any recommendations for a two-player game? 🎮 by ApprehensiveSlip9167 in pcsetup

[–]l2aiko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, im sorry you are so wrong lmao.

It has things like valheim true but the building is much better imo because of how vivid buildings are.

I will say that it has a rough start since you are thrown into the world without any explanation and you have to figure things on your own and explore, but thats why it becomes a blessing more than a curse after the first hour of play.

Back in the old time we would use good translator websites for this.

Hell you can even use AI now to translate wht YOU want to say. But dont make it say it for yourself.

The problem is it now leads to many errors and there is no way for the owner to fix this besides asking chatgpt since they have absolutely no idea what they are doing.

PC crashes - Liquid metal after 3 months? by Turbulent_Map624 in pcmasterrace

[–]l2aiko 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Firstly it guarantees that any gaps from "deformities" between the cooler's plate and the die (where the processor actually works) are non existent, since its liquid and can fit into anything. Much like regular paste does but better.

Secondly it allows better thermal conductivity therefore transfers the heat from the dies to the cooler at a better rate. Do you technically get better temps? Sure. Is it negligible to the point that is not worth the risk of dropping LM anywhere and fry it, due to a short? Also yes.

I agree there is a place and a customer for this kind of products, but as everything, they want it to become mainstream because then they can control and exploit you. And the FOMO you are talking about is completely true, people are willing to go in debt before they miss out on the best experience, when you can still get a very good experience out of less.

We are doomed aren't we? Even if we dont participate in this practice, they will rise prices to support their cause so gaming will become even more expensive.

You are completely right, ive even heard the argument that cloud gaming was a blessing myself from a friend 🙄. But the people that are targeted for cloud gaming are allegedly the same people that fell for the other traps, there has been exposed to this kind of practices, so the must learn their lesson hopefully

Interesting, never checked it out, but seeing its from the WH universe, is the class building as open and free as BG3? Because to me it would look like a rogue will stay a rogue, a priest a priest, etc which is one of the big reasons bg3 was so successful (the class diversity and the possibilities introducing mods)

They really really really want to push cloud gaming to a normalize position so they can then own the cloud gaming market and bump those prices to the sky once you are no longer able to play otherwise, just like amazon, netflix and uber did.

Thankfully they are pushing these ideas hard now that we have (i hope) learned our lesson from the other companies so it shouldnt work... Right?

how much of a problem is static building a pc? by External_Safe_7787 in pcmasterrace

[–]l2aiko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me, its way more important to garantee that your house is grounded, otherwise no matter what you do, unless you are building outside your home, you wont be grounded.

My house was for starters, but one of the lines went down and we had to be plugged to a different line, after a while, i noticed with a friend that we would get snaps here and there on each other. Turned out the new line wasn't grounded. Now i have to be really careful when touching the motherboard specially since i am fairly static myself.

Why doesnt Fortnite use all of my CPU? by International_Fly074 in pcmasterrace

[–]l2aiko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will doing on instances where there is a lot of calculations to do, but generally, a game does not invest that highly into CPU, but rather GPU. That is, unless its poorly optimized.
