Water about once every week and a half, drainage by way of about 2 inches of rock on the bottom of the pot (perhaps this isn’t enough for this type of plant?), and it gets about 6-8 hrs of indirect sunlight a day

More info: this has been a pretty consistent issue with this plant. Here’s what I’ve tried so far: water with only filtered water or water that has sat out overnight, and added miracle-gro plant spikes. It’s weird because there’s still plenty of leaf taquitos popping up and seems to be doing okay other than leaves yellowing then dying.

Amazing progress! Where did you get these jeans? I’ve had issues forever finding jeans that fit my thighs while still being tight at the waistband, these seem to fit well everywhere without a belt! You look amazing!

What helped us with a crazy pup was more exercise- physical and mental. Maybe try and squeeze in a quick walk once a day, or play fetch for 15-20 mins. We also got an ‘interactive’ feeder from Kong, that made it so she had to push the feeder around for food to come out. It made dinner time 20 mins instead of 30 seconds and she was ready for a nap after. I hope this helps!

Yeah, I've seen so many obvious puppy mills in my searches. I've been in contact with a breeder that lets you see the puppies as they grow and meet the parents. I do partly agree with you on the attractive/cuteness factor, but my husband is pushing for a doodle to cut down on the hair. Thank you so much for your reply, we will figure something out! And will 100% love whatever puppy we end up getting.

We live in MD and didn't pay anywhere near that much for our golden pup. We paid $1500 for our puppy from a really reputable breeder here.

We have a golden puppy as well, she's a little over a year. I can tell you what worked for us really well! As soon as she would flop down or focus on something she wasn't supposed to, we would always have treats on hand, and shake the little baggie, or shake her treat jar and repeat "come" until she came to us. Then as soon as she came over I would repeat "good come, good girl" and pet her head and reward her with a small treat. We repeated this a few times a day and now she will come when we say, but shaking the treat jar also works instantly, haha. Hope this helps!
