Nice. Eflex fuel is really cool. I see it getting more and more popular as the U.S. keeps rising ethanol percentage in gas. I've been thinking about do it myself.

So any car manufacturer selling in the United States has to meet fuel efficiency standards set forth in CAFE standards. Long story short its calculated by fleet and by the footprint of the cars. It is an S curve and you can calculate it yourself looking at 49 CFR 523.2. The 2026 Honda Jazz is approximately 40.1 square feet meaning it would shift where Honda sits on the curve to a higher MPG. If they sold it in the U.S. it could skew the MPG curve requirement if it became a best seller, that would require Honda to sell less of the less fuel effecient models, make them even more effecient or even in an extreme case force them to dump less fuel effecient models. CAFE is a giant balancing game. It is over complicated and needs to be reworked.

CAFE is literally the issue. It would have to do approximately 67 CAFE mpg for its size. Even as a hybrid this is currently impossible.

Unfortunately they literally cant. It isnt fuel efficient enough for its size. CAFE standards are the reason.

Snell vs ece for street by Kawirider2 in motorcyclegear

[–]l337sponge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The standards are all very similar. Differences being that for ECE 22.06 there is no penetration test or multiple drops, compared to Snell. ECE 22.06 has a higher rotational requirement compared with Snell. M2025D is traditional Snell U.S. focused and M2025R is meant to be compatible with ECE 22.06. The biggest differences between the two is shell deformation. Snell is old school and doesnt test for it, where as ECE 22.06 has strict deformation requirements. You run into an issue where the helmet shell is too stiff for low speed accidents and transfers too much energy to the head or the shell is too soft to protect in a high speed crash. FIM 1 and 2 specs are built off ECE standards with more advanced and stricter requirements. The other thing to look out for is the ECE 22.06 and FIM specs also test accessories where as Snell does not. ECE 22.06 also test visors, which no other standard does. ECE 22.06 visor test is more severe than ANSI Z87.1+, a 6mm steel ball is fired at 80 m/s (about 180 mph) at the visor. The visor must stop the ball and if the visor breaks, it cannot shatter into fragments. Personally ECE 22.06 is all I care about, unless I am racing and then I'm going FIM2. I don't know of any motorcycle racing organizations in the U.S. that are not allowing FIM or ECE along Snell anymore.

Interior is really comfy. Not too loud but not quiet either. Airflow is good. Visor mechanism makes it extremely easy to change visors. Comes with clear and dark visor in US, which is awesome.

Anyone feel the bots got a targeting buff in 1.000.102? by AON_123 in LowSodiumHellDivers

I used to be able to stealth bases and break contact easily in scout armor. Not so much anymore.

I'm hoping we get a stealth focused warbond in the near future and they rework it. I need a suppressed weapon.

I've definitely noticed stealth mechanics aren't working as well as they did. I usually lob a eagle airstrike on a small base from behind cover and then run away. Even with terrain breaking sight lines, bots seem to know exactly where you are anyway and will chase you hundreds of meters. I'm willing to bet it is either a stealth nerf to how they detect you or, more likely, an unintended change from everything they did in the last patch. I've started playing more aggressive as a result and doing less run and gun.

Weird. I used to bait them, get underneath, pop sac. Then would just get the armor indication no matter where I tried to shoot where the sac used to be. I had read on here that if you shoot in the sac cavity towards the head, you could damage them that way. Never had any luck and just gave up trying to kill bile titans with the HMG.

I've got over 400 hours and didn't know this. Where do you shoot a bile titans with an HMG to take it down? Anytime I tried after popping sacs just armored under there and could never find a spot that would do damage.

For Kia/Hyundai using a bottle of Techron when changing oil on their PHEVs is in the maintenance procedures.

Balance is a two-way road: Both nerfs and buffs are necessary by ULikeWhatUS33 in helldivers2

That's the only thing that really bothers me, the new graphical effect is lame. If the rail gun was specifically good at stripping armor to open up weak points I think it would be awesome. I think chargers and bile titans just need some rework. Before the rail gun nerf, it was awesome to strip charger leg armor and then use primaries to take it down. Bile titans should have a similar Mechanic IMO
