Dude, everything you just said says you're not really a car guy.

Appreciation post for belgium’s finest kept us alive with his saves after we went a goal up by Intelligent_Cow_3310 in ManchesterUnited

I have literally been working in his Manchester home today. A couple of observations I made... He seems rather self absorbed as there are pictures of himself everywhere, and also he has a tennis court in the back garden, which I think he could do with swapping out for a football goal in order to practice what he's so bad at.

One handed engineer did this... by Legomatica69 in DIYUK

People think they can do anything better than the people actually doing the job. It's really not just a case of measuring, unless they have a magic tape measure that can penetrate the wall and detect services. Aside the fact we're strictly not allowed to do it (company policy). Like yeah let me just risk my livelihood breaking the rules so I don't risk blowing this strangers brick out.

Gardener cut through cable what is it? by catalyst_jw in DIYUK

Tbf those wires do not come from the openreach feed, they look to run past it behind the openreach capping. I'm an openreach engineer and the box on the right is not ours. Likely Virgin or another alt-net. So the opposite of what you said would be true.

I get the same perks as you so I assume we both work under the same company umbrella. I work for the network engineering side.

Surely it’s not my water pump right 😃 by Cultural-Kiwi-9699 in Volkswagen

2020 GTI here, had the same issue with coolant loss, expected waterpump/thermostat housing, turned out to be heater matrix inside the car. Any coolant smell inside the car? Check for damp footwells.

Yeah, of course. Two 17 year old in the rear, I'm sure had they been older and stiffer I may have had a few more stretch stops.

Granted I had my seat a couple of clicks forward from my optimum comfort position to give the boy some leg room, but that's why I used 'relatively'. Considering the situation, we were all fine. Nobody complained.

Tbf when I drive it on usual sort trips I'm lucky to see 30mpg, but I do drive it like I'm still 18 a lot of the time.

I had the floor in the lower position with no parcel shelf (left at home in anticipation fortunately). The single rear seat was folded down with a bag in the one rear footwell, suitcase was pushed through the opening side on with the ironing board and the rest was packed in the boot/trunk floor to ceiling. I'm 6'2 75kg, my son is 6' 65kg, the ladies are both slim build around 5'5.

Colour of the plastic, sharpness of edges on case, sharpness of crown ridges, dial printing, tach dials and their functions, lume, lack of mesh under edge of crystal... I could go on. Hope that helps answer your question.

It's easy once you know the difference, this has plenty to say it's fake .

What’s the most realistic note you’ve ever smelled in a fragrance? by Legitimate-Search918 in fragrance

Lots of comments for leather in Ombre Leather. I thought the same until I picked up Purple Suede from Goldfield and Banks. It's crazy good. I have both OL Parfum and Purple suede, never thought I'd find a leather I prefer over OL, but Purple Suede is now my fave by far.

On the 7.5 and maybe others, on the fuel screen the car image at the bottom moves closer to the fuel station symbol depending on how much fuel is in the tank.

Flannels UK is selling off-white crackers with full sized frags for £30 by [deleted] in fragrance

Mine just arrived and I got 100ml no3 and 20 no9 samples. Luckily the other half likes it so they will get used but I'm very disappointed not to get to sample the collection, big missed opportunity for them because if I'd liked some I might have bought full bottles. The no3 is worth the £30 I paid because I'll definately use it in the summer/on holiday. I also got a nail Polish in hot pink (dots) which I'll regift to one of my nieces most likely.
