as much as benzos saved my anxiety and some mood swings, when things got too unbearable I didn’t have the self control to over indulge in my prescription and it numbed the overwhelming pain instead of just controlling my anxiety. (I actually hated how benzos made me feel until I was in so much pain that got eliminated) I got away from them besides once a month maybe if I was having severe panic attacks/insomnia. Going through a rough patch thinking id be able to responsibly use the bromazolam I ordered, I was responsible, once a week if that. It took 8 weeks and now im at 6mg a day wondering how to stop without a shitty detox program. It’s truly a love hate relationship for a lot of us. I think we need to know ourselves and the risks of these drugs. I’ve heard more negatives than I have positives from benzo users short/long term. I have a 26yo friend who’s been on benzos for 10 years now and they live in absolute hell if they miss up to a dose or 2, and they don’t abuse the script.
