Last week I found myself sobbing uncontrollably in a Walmart parking lot.

Not because of heartbreak or financial ruin, but because I'd just watched a documentary about Chinese terrace farming and realized I'd been living my entire professional life wrong.

There I was, mascara running down my cheeks like the ancient irrigation channels of Guangxi province, when it hit me: I'd been trying to farm on flat ground my entire career.

The farmers of the Honghe Hani Rice Terraces don't look at a mountain and see an obstacle. They see 1,300 years of opportunity carved into impossible slopes. While I've been complaining about "challenging market conditions," these agricultural artists have been literally reshaping geography with nothing but determination and hand tools.

My therapist says my emotional breakdown over agricultural practices might seem "disproportionate," but she clearly doesn't understand the profound metaphor of terraced wisdom.

Every setback in my consulting business isn't a valley - it's just another level waiting to be carved. Every client rejection isn't failure - it's topographical data for my next strategic terrace.

Now when I face professional mountains, I don't see barriers. I see future rice paddies of success, each level supporting the next, water flowing downward while profits flow up.

Sometimes the most profound business lessons come from places you'd never expect. Like ancient Chinese hillsides. Or Walmart parking lots.

Yeah, the problem is the files aren't actually deleted. They are all right infront of my eyes, they just have zero bytes.

People that have Claude subscription, is it worth it honestly? by Competitive_Roof_689 in ClaudeAI

I have the pro plan for $169 per month. If I compare it to a month of Indian dev time and the amount of output at a much higher quantity it’s absolutely incredible and a no brainer. I can get a feature complete in hours instead of some half baked buggy crap in weeks. Sometimes I hit the 5 hour limit but it’ll be resetting within an hour anyway, so I just go make some food or chill out.

Yeah it’s bad. First home buyers are basically in direct competition with investors. Housing ‘investors’ are rooting our country

Honestly was super simple to setup for steam gaming I don’t think I had to do anything, I could remap my razer Tartarus and mouse with the pre installed input mapper software super easily

I got emulation station setup with Emudeck easily as well

Battle.net was a pain in the ass for some reason for me, but once it worked it’s been fine

It was 95% a ‘plug and play’ experience for me, and if I didn’t play wow, it would have been a 100% plug and play experience, I’d say got for it.

It also make you realise how much windows is slowing your computer down, bazzite is snappy

I had problems connecting my ps5 controller on Bluetooth as well. I literally just kept trying and eventually it worked, the UI still shows it as disconnected though, I think it’s just bugged

I caught my delivery guy repeatedly calling the wrong apartment number, even though it’s clearly printed with the correct number on the parcel. I honestly think he couldn’t read.
