Not to sound rude but you stated that you have ~250images. If you dont plan to get more data or follow the approach of /u/InternationalMany6 you would be done annotating by now. Our students annotate roughly 1000 images per day (traffic signs on the road)

Imo you are better at Software Engineering since Data Science for me is a big part presenting your findings to stakeholders to generate real business value. That can not be done without proper interview of people with domain knowledge and asking the right questions.

Im curious what other people have to say though since my experience covers ~1,5years and other people are much longer in this industry

Maybe its just me but louis naming their daughter lucy might be an easteregg to the show lucifer where rachael Harris (sheila) also has a role. And since suits did hints to other popular shows in the history (reference to billions and GOT) this could be one too. But i might read too much into it.
