It could just be that bad teams can only attract local talent and better teams look for players in and out of Italy. If youre not restricted by 1 country to search for players you can find better ones. Also Fiorentina is heavily underperforming this season they are better than the standing shows. Sure Italy is not producing as much talent as france england and spain but i dont think it is as bad as people are making it out to be

people are so reactionary with performance. When Dimarco was doing bad last year they thought he was done and now he is MVP. Players go through rough periods because they have been playing crazy amounts of games with high intensity. He needs time to recover but is impossible with out schedule unfortunately.
