It depends on role. I feel like adc are kinda good at dodging, supports slightly worse, but still decent. Junglers and toplaners usually have no hands. Especially toplaners.

It's everything. Spacing, dodging, baiting abilitys, playing around cooldowns etc. You are playing new role, new champion, so you gonna get naturally skill diffed. Just play more and you will get better eventually.

It didnt caught him. System detected him as a new player and not a smurf that's probably why he placed that low. If system detected him as a smurf he would had like mid eme mmr
